How it works in 4 steps

Step 1: Post your trip

Create a listing: "I have EUR 2,000, flying Frankfurt to Bangkok on Nov 13, need THB." You set your desired rate — most people choose the mid-market rate. It's free to post.

Step 2: Get matched

CashCross scans all active listings and finds a complementary pair: same route, opposite direction, compatible amounts and timing. Both parties get notified. You lock the rate.

Step 3: Lock & escrow

Both travelers confirm the swap. Each deposits their funds into CashCross's escrow. The rate is locked — it won't change regardless of market movement.

Step 4: Swap & confirm

Meet at the airport gate, lounge, or arrival hall. Both confirm the swap in the app. Funds released from escrow instantly. Done. Rate each other to build trust for future swaps.

Only 0.5% — and that's it

CashCross charges a flat 0.5% fee per completed swap, split evenly between both parties. Compare that to airport kiosks (6-12%) or bank tellers (3-5%). On a $1,000 swap, you pay $2.50. A bank would charge you $30-70 for the same thing.

ID verification: Optional but incentivized. Verified users get higher swap limits and access to digital handoff.
